Regulations
BACKGROUND
Participation in the Trail leads to unreserved acceptance of these regulations and the ethics of the trail race. The ethics trail provides: respect for nature, avoiding harmful cuts of paths and not throwing waste along the way, respect for volunteers, who work for free for your pleasure and safety, the obligation to rescue athletes in difficulty. For us, ethics trail is a point of honor, not respecting it is unforgivable and will result in immediate disqualification. The event adheres to the “I don’t throw waste” project promoted by Spirito Trail.
The Amorotto Trail is a race in a natural environment, in complete food self-sufficiency, on a varied terrain of old tracks and historical paths, where in some places nature has partially re-appropriated it. Here are the planned routes:
PST – Poiago Short Trail – 12 km with 450m D +
SVT – San Vitale Trail – 20 km with 1000m D +
MFT – Monte Fosola Trail – 32km with 1400m D +
The demanding routes include passages on mountain paths with hiking sections (type E according to CAI definition) and the conditions can be very difficult (wind, cold, fog, rain or snow), the temperature can vary from + 20 ° degrees at 0 ° degrees. Therefore, good physical preparation, careful training, a real capacity for personal autonomy, a knowledge of the mountains and utmost prudence are essential. It is highly recommended that you have already participated in other less demanding trails before this race.
